Michael Woods ex America

Can someone help me Michael Woods was with the band America for 37 years,he was a keyboard & guitar player.
Had a look on wiki but couldn't find much information was he Scottish?

Yes he did replace Dan Peek,I saw their 2008 Concert in a theatre in Chicago on YouTube.Michael did sing a few lines he sounded Scottish to me?
