Who likes the Arrows band from the 70s ?

My mum was a big fan and I have always enjoyed listening to this band through out my childhood, the lead singer of the band was Alan Merrill the son of the Jazz sing Helen Merrill, Alan Merrill is one of the best male singers I have ever heard.

My mum told me about their great TV show, that's how she became a fan of theirs, unfortuantly she could not video them back in the 70s because she had no video recorder.

I remember they had the first release of 'I love rock n roll' long before Joan Jett/ Britney etc did their versions

Yes and it was the best version and Alan Merrill & Jake Hooker of the Arrows wrote I love rock n roll, did you know that Alan Merrill became a guitarist for Meat Loaf in the mid to late eighties

Alan Merrill is a friend of mine on Facebook. Very out-there, ballsy and fun-loving guy. He recently did some shows in the UK not so long ago.
