Tiger Feet by Mud had a particular dance whereby, if I'm not mistaken, two people spat beer over each other's shoulders ! Nice.
There was also Rocking the Boat as well as the Bump.
Into the 5th Millennium & beyond...!

Was that the one where you all had to sit on the floor in a line?

there's another post about this somewhere...I believe it's affectionately known as 'the boat song'. Reading the other post, it was actually called 'Oops Upside Your Head' by the Gap Band.

Ah yes, many a wedding party I've been hauled onto the floor to do that. Wonder what Rocking the Boat is then?

The boat dance - i have seen that done to "Mamma Told Me" by Fantastique ( mint tune)

Also i remember the breakdancing craze around 84/85.
"Beautifull Sunday" is Used for the Slosh.
"Do the hucklebuck" by Coast To Coast

Anyone know what the hell the Ally Cat Dance is???? Been asked to play that one at a few weddings during my time

Yeah I agree with Beautiful Sunday for the slosh but if I was to play Do the Hucklebuck where I am it would be for a jive or RocknRoll dance
