If you're into that sort of stuff, the full 12" mix is available on a double cd called "Magnum Opus". Other tracks include Got to be real by Cheryl Lynn, Now that we've found love by Third World and Single life by Cameo.

I shelled out the princely sum of £4 for Gary Byrd when it was originally released as a 12" US import. Two weeks later, the UK copy was released at half the price! I'm over it now though!

You wear the crown, you were the crown, to proud to say..... cant remember the rest!! excellent tune and first heard it on Radio London when tony Blackburn played it in 1984
