Henley Rewind Festival August 21-23, 2009

Hiya,

Just wondering if anyone else is venturing to this festival? I was speaking to the promoter of this when I went to the Greatest 80s Party at Blickling Hall in July and she said ticket sales are going remarkably well and they're expecting about 30,000 people over the weekend.

The line-up looks pretty impressive. I'm not going for the whole weekend...just planning a day trip on the Sunday when my preferred bands ie GO WEST, Howard Jones and Nik Kershaw are on.

I attended this on Sunday 23rd August and it was FANTASTIC!!

I felt like I was 17 again, standing watching Howard Jones, Nik Kershaw, Midge Ure, Paul Young, GO WEST and Martin Fry perform.

Got an extra surprise when Nik Kershaw came on stage with Keith Airey playing guitar for him....had huge flashbacks to May 1985.......standing room only at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney.....Bliss!!

And of course, GO WEST were fabulous as usual!

Let's do it all again!!
