Went to see them at Harlow Town Park in my yoof. Great day ,very sunny ,and everyone just chillin' to the music ,which if I recall correctly ,cut out a few times due to the sound monitors!

Despite being one of my fave bands ever i saw Hawkwind late 70s and everything went wrong that night, made worse by the fact the band were all stoned and couldn't play.
it was Manchester apollo the sound was just awful, equipment problems, crowd problems. Space ritual probably the second best album of all time.
Realise this is an old thread but i was going to start one and thought it best to do a search first
