i liked john peel as he gave so many unsigned bands a break, also liked kenny everett for wackiness

I'd have to say it was John Peel- he used to give a lot of airplay to Welsh bands in the '80s at a time when everybody else on Radio 1 thought that everything to do with Wales was just a joke. I also like Alex Lester on Radio 2.

I've always liked Steve Wright, but in the 70s, probably DLT and Noel Edmonds.
