Re: 1st Album & Single you ever bought
My sister owned a tape recorder then later on a record player so any records that were bought were bought in our younger years were bought by and for her. One Christmas she got a 'Grease' soundtrack tape, 'Adam And The Ants' and another mixed hits tape in which the only song I remember was 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Queen'. Many years passed where she recorded songs off the radio. The first record single she bought was 'Automatic' by the Pointer Sisters.

First Record/Cd you bought?
When i was at school i used to love Slade, back in the early 70s they were massive and the first single i went out and bought with 50p pocket money was 'Gudbye T'Jane', not such a big hit for Slade but one of my faves.
I can still smell that little plastic vinyl record now.
I just loved the driving beat and guitar riff and of course Noddy's great gravely voice.
Played this record till i wore it out.
Still a great song.

Hehe...I have this too designgirlOriginally posted by designgirl View PostFirst album: INXS, The Swing
First single (actually, cassingle): INXS, Dekadance
Both in 1984. The Dekadance cassingle was in a special cigarette packet outer sleeve and had a brilliant version of 'Jackson' with Jenny Morris.
It was a very cool packaging concept at the time. My fav was 'Love Is (What I say). Very cool.
