First album I bought was The Man Who by Travis. They're Scottish like me.

Earliest single I aquired was a used copy of Everybody Wants To Rule The World by Tears For Fears.

First vinyl album I bought was 'The Man Machine' by Kraftwerk. Someone gave me one of their singles (A-side 'The Robots', B-side 'Spacelab') and I decided once I saved up enough money I would buy the album. Played the album, I liked it, everyone else thought it was ****, until 'The Model' hit No.1 and all of a sudden the album was groovy! Fickle fashion eh?

Never bought a vinyl single from a record shop. The only one I bought was from a jumble sale from a then unknown band called 'Spandau Ballet'. The A-side was 'Paint Me Down' and it cost 5p. There was a box full of them!!

first album(it was a tape) - queen news of the world (from asda at notts while out with me parents.I made me old man play it in the car and he moaned about it until me mum turned it off!!!.) Man i was rock n roll then!

I used to play it on our music center (surely the biggest one in living history) at full blast when me parents were out!
