Re: 1st Album & Single you ever bought
Mine?
The first single... IRON MAIDEN's BRING YOUR DAUGHTER TO THE SLAUGHTER (Different to the one on NOES5: The Dream Child)
The ALBUM.... IRON MAIDEN:THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST
After The Angel and The Gambler they began to go downhill but now my fave band're Bal-sagoth (WWW.BAL-SAGOTH.COM) whose brand of metal's more approriate to some of my works of fiction.

Re: 1st Album & Single you ever bought
Fantastic thread. I'm going through 11 pages thinking "remember buying that". Just had sad thoughts though. In 20/30 years time there may be a DYR forum for noughties children called "What was your first song downloaded?". As they'll have nothing tangible to refer to, I doubt it'll get off the first page, either that or it'll be 11 pages of "can't remember".

Re: 1st Album & Single you ever bought
I've posted in this thread twice!! I'd forgot i'd already posted nearly 2 years ago. I'd put my first single as Crazy Little Thing Called love on the other post, my memories must be a little hazy!

Re: 1st Album & Single you ever bought
My first single I bought myself was Dance Yourself Dizzy by Liquid Gold (1980?)
First Album was A Nolans one (can't remember the name of it, but on the cover they were wearing gold boob tubes and shiny trousers!)
