Trying to identify guitar instrumental Amazing Grace 70s band

Hi guys, there's a song that's driving me nuts at the moment so I'm looking for some help.

Back in the early-mid 70s a fuzz guitar intrumental version of Amazing Grace was released on the back of the success of the bagpipes version. I used to have the single but can't find it anywhere & can't remember who made it. Can anyone remember who the band were? I think it was on the Polydor label if that helps.

Here you are..... My dad had it and I remember it well. It was the Scots Guards version that got me into playing the bagpipes in the first place

Wow that was fast! Thank you so much toastie & even played on a Garrard t/table! The band name Sakkarin was stuck in my head & I was sure it couldn't be the the Jonathan 'I'm so wonderful' King band. At least it was on the Polydor label & I got the 1st letter right. ;~)

Is it true that there are only 9 notes on a bagpipe? I read that on a US forum during my investigations. I have found one song whose guitar riff uses every note (minus chromatisms) on a guitar fretboard (nearly 4 octaves). Anybody know of other songs that do something similar? BTW it's Everybody needs a Friend by Wishbone Ash off the 4th album. I'm sure it was a musical exercise to see if they could do it & it works really well IMHO. It's also surpisingly simple so even I can play it. ;~}
