Ok this advert is airing now (or at least it was until around Christmas Day, annoyingly I haven't seen it since, hence the frustration). The tune is an 80s tune with bells in it (not jingle bells, more like chimes) and a funky beat. no idea who it is by but remember it from back in the day. Didn't catch what the advert was for either but looked dark perhaps with a woman being sophisticated, perhaps for some sort of drink? The tune is stuck in my head and is driving me nuts. Can anybody help me ID it?

Thanks for trying guys. I don't know the lyrics but it is a woman singing it. I reckon if I could find out what the ad was for I could identify it quite easily. I wish I had taken more notice! I'll keep searching in the mean time.1976 VintageComment

When you said a 'woman being sophisticated' (there's a joke there somewhere
), I thought maybe perfume, but came up blank apart from a charlize theron advert for Dior.....the music was nothing like you said though.
