Does anybody remember this song? All I can say is that it came out in 1977 and was VERY weird punk, or at very least New Wave. Lots of electronic synth, with a lead singer who had a snarling, rasping tone. I've no idea who the band was, but it was a creepy sounding number and it spooked me a bit when I heard it on my grandma's old '60s transistor very late one night during the Easter holidays (might've been on the Steve Wright Show, he was the one who did the late night stuff on Radio 1 back then).
Only ever heard it the once, but never forgotten it- from what I can gather it was a surrealist take on listening to records on a monogram record player. Does anyone else remember it, and if so do you know who the band were?
