We have a dvd of CCR and John Fogarty is singing this song outdoors with a load of people dancing

My Name Is Michael Caine - Madness (1984)
Making Plans For Nigel - XTC (1979)
To Be Or Not To Be - BA Robertson (1980)
My Resistance Is Low - Robin Sarstedt (always evokes memories of that red hot summer of 1976)
It Only Takes A Minute (100 Ton And A Feather, again '76)

There's more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Ph...iter/singer%29

I did see a copy in a 2nd hand record shop many years ago, pressed in green/yellow vinyl. They were asking a fair amount for it so I didn't buy it.

Driver 67 also had a 2 part song called Headlights / Tailights which the BBC wouldn't play on air.

And remember these follow-up-to-big-hit-songs which never really did well as the previous song:

Little Lady - Aneka (Japanese Boy). Around autumn 1981
Won't Somebody Play My Record - Driver 67. Around 1979
Rocket Now - Typically Tropical. Sept 1975
Jump In My Car - Chris Spedding (of Motorbikin' fame, my fave hit of Summer 1975)
Rendezvous - Tina Charles. May 1977
Three Ring Circus - Barry Biggs

As Richard1978 said, I too cannot ever remember hearing this track before.
Even though I have owned the LP that it's on (Waterloo) for donkey's years.
Somehow it slipped by me, suffice to say that it is an awesome track.
In fact, when I next DJ at an R&B/Funk night I think I will give it a spin, I bet it will go down a treat.
But it isn't actually from ABBA's first LP BusesFan, the Waterloo LP was their second album release.
Their first LP is called Ring Ring, but it isn't very well known & only had a limited release in certain countries.
Cheers for pointing out My Mama Said though, it really is a brilliantly funky tune.

Be it TV or radio, they only ever play 'Tiger Feet' and 'Lonely This Christmas' when it comes to Mud. They never play 'Crazy' or 'Hypnosis'.

    A Little bit of soap-Showaddywaddy 1978

The only time I heard this song was on a jukebox.

I don't think I've heard that one, it's not on the 2nd volume of Abba gold.

The other 2 songs seem to turn up on oldies stations every now & again.
