70's or 60's Song with whistling at the beginning & possibly throughout

Trying to id a track with echoey melancholy whistling in the intro, quite a long passage & then the music comes in

not even sure it had words but may have done, remember it not being upbeat & quite solemn in a way

Could whistle it now but can't for the life think what it could be, google has failed me too

The first thing that pops into my mind is The Stranger by the brilliant Billy Joel.

It has very solemn sounding whistling on the intro & outro.
