As they will be reviving Spitting Image, it made me think whether The Chicken Song was indeed a song that was first used on a Spitting Image episode, and the powers that be decided to turn it into a hit? That Waterman and Cole song was on a cassette album of Christmas songs that I got from WHSmith (when they sold music!) back in the mid 1990s.
