Does any one remember this song?

Hi, I used to hear a song played on the radio in the 80's. It started with the words "Early one fine morning, half asleep and yawning, I went downstairs to let my ***** in....."

I can't find it anywhere on the internet. I can't be the only person to have heard it. Is any one else familiar with it?

Yeah I remember that song well, was played a lot on "Junior Choice" hosted by Tony Blackburn....Woof-Woof to Arnold.....twas a song about a love affair between two cats and sung by a family trio; a boy and his two sisters, they actually featured in a documentary shown in the 80's about child entertainers....I'm sorry but I can't remember the title of the song or the name of the group but like yourself I can remember most of it, the chorus went...."Don't you touch her (meaow) she's my pusst cat (meaow) don't you touch her (meaow) she belongs to me!" ........ I'm such a sad man!!
