I would buy obscure singles from the bargain bin at the local record shop
some charted with minor success, some had airplay but never did anything chart wise.
in the mid 90s my record collection was stolen and everything taped on cassette was thrown out in a house move
thank goodness for YouTube, every now and again, one of these old tracks pops in my head and a quick search brings those tracks back
