I quite like that song. Recently to help get into the Christmas spirit I bought a new Christmas CD and there was a cover of that song on it........I didn't realise it was written by PMC until you mentioned it.

Pretty much all of them. Having worked in a shop where the "Christmas Album" would be looped all day I can no longer stand any of them.

I really have to leave the room if I hear Do They Know starting.

Most are overplayed to oblivion! And the most cringeworthy is Fairytale of New York! Hate it! Its very trendy to say how good it is because poor Kirsty got minced up by a boat, Thats a bad reason to say a record is good!

One that gets overlooked is "Christmas Wrapping" by the Waitresses.

I hate XFactor so much, but the one thing I am grateful to Simon Cowell for, is that as long as there is XFactor, there is no more Cliff Richard to ruin my Xmas.

The worst song ever has to be Mistletoe and Wine, and what about that other dreadful Millenium thing he did that had Auld Land Sine in it?! utter garbage. Can't stand him

Used to get the Phil Spector xmas album played repeatedly on xmas morning when i was a kid and hated it but I love it now as with most xmas music. Last christmas seems to be the most overplayed though.

I agree with you on both points. Fairytale of NY is the only one that is "acceptable" to admit to liking. It's way down my list but xmas wrapping is one of my faves.
