      Re: Haunting Songs

the opening theme to the 70's series Flambards always had a strange quality for me,

Aquarium by Camille Saint Saens, heard it as kid, loved its beauty ever since. sharp ears may pick out the glass harmonica.

Teardrop by Massive Attack, Mezzanine album. My favourite track.

Slightly outside the boundaries yearwise but often played in the 70's ( My apologies ) was Simon Dupree, Kites.

Scarlet Ribbons by Sinead O'Connor when used in Nana's death in The Royle Family - Queen of Sheba was very haunting and moving

                          Re: Haunting Songs

Angie Baby by Helen Reddy was quite haunting, or maybe just strange.
