Clutching at straws here really, but I remember a song from when i was very young, anywhere from 3 to 5 years old so say around '89 to '91.... singing it to myself, sort of, i didnt know the lyrics of course! It had the words " soft (something) warm..." in the chorus and was sung by a guy with a really really husky voice.

I know its precious little to go on but its been bugging me for AGES! any suggestions let me know

There was a song out around 1990 called 'Hairstyle of the Devil' by Momus which kind of fits, though I'm not sure of the lyrics.
