Maybe before the 70's but I remember my dad always saying a little comedy ditty that started like this:-
'A sail on the sea is a thing that suits me, and I've done some sailing that's true'.
And I know it ends something like this:-
'We're doomed the old tub's going down; to the boats every man, except you, I said me? he said yes, there's no room you must drown.'
What I want to know is who said this and from what film, programme, song or whatever it is from and where I can find the full transcript. Any help would be most appreciated as it is driving me crazy. Thanks!
