    Re: Best Intros

Most Bee Gee Songs have great intros but the bestest ever is Spirit of Radio by Rush!
I go back to the original Jethro Tull - Yes! The seed drill inventor!

Having a good intro is defo key to a good song thinking about it.

Billie jean/beat it - MJ - too be honest all of MJ songs have good intros.
      Sweet child o mine - g n r
you can call me al - paul simon
money for nothing and walk of life - dire straits

But the number one intro for me is with or without you - U2 - it kinda hypnotizes me!
I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.

Actually, thinking about it, which I have been....for a great 80's intro how about "Rio" by Duran Duran?
        It's pretty good

The Stranglers - No more heroes and Jilted John - Jilted John. Both instantly recognisable.

One of my all time favourites from childhood,is a song by an obscure band called: Cane. The song was called: Dice.It has a slow, pretty boring bass intro, but i love it.
                          Someone put it on youtube.
