Fairytale Of New York is def my fav xmas tune but also like that Sleigh Ride one, y'know the one that goes:

Just hear those sleigh bells jing-a-ling, ring ting ting-a-ling too
Come on it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you
Outside the snow is falling and friends are calling "yoo-hoo"
Come on it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you...

Not sure who by but love the old version sang by a woman (maybe Ella Fiztgerald) but NOT the Spice Girls or Hilary Duff versions!!!!

Momma, wait til the end of the concert when he asks 'are there any requests?' Ignore the people shouting 'yeah, get off the stage', seize the opportunity and ask for your song to be sung!

Oops, went off topic there before, I'm easily distrac...

Ahem. Favourite Xmas song. 'I Believe In Father Christmas' by Greg Lake. Why? Three reasons: a) it's a very good song b) it was the first song I heard on my light blue pocket transistor radio, my Xmas present in 1975 c) the BBC have used the music over the festive period when advertising whats being shown over Xmas/New Year.
                    Cheers

'I Believe In Father Christmas' by Greg Lake for me too - a brilliant lament on the commercialisation of Xmas.
