Charlie can be a boys' or a girls' name (usually short for Charlotte), most more prominently a boys' name.

    Re: Wrong lyrics

The song "Pilot of the Airwaves" by Charlie Dore has a line which which says "People say I look weary, but that's just the company I keep". It actually sounds like "People say I'm a queerie". She certainly doesn't look very masculine, that's all I can say, but she has a very masculine sounding name.

What the lyrics are: She's a diploma in 'just hiding things',you've a first in 'low esteem'
what i thought they were: You need a royal marine just finding things, ???????????????? Couldn't ever figure out the next line.

    Re: Wrong lyrics

Just listened to The Man Who Sold The World (Lulu, not Bowie) and I thought I heard "Oh no, not me. I never lost a toe".
It was "I never lost control".
Just found out too that the chorus to Freeez's IOU isn't "AEIOU and sometimes Y".

Further to that post, I've just found this video of O Fortuna with misheard lyrics:
    http://www.wimp.com/ofortuna/

The trouble is, being as the first time I ever heard O Fortuna was on an Old Spice advert in the 70s, I've become rigidly accustomed to it being the Old Spice advert tune, that I still think of O Fortuna as the Old Spice tune, wherever I hear it.
