Great tune and one of the first I worked out on the bass.I picked up a 12" of this a few years ago. (went to the cinema to see phantom of the park years ago,bit cheesy but liked the band at the time) Saw them at Donnington monsters of rock in the 80s.Gene Simmons with his famous axe bass, sweet!

KISS - Sure Know Something

YouTube - KISS Unplugged - Sure Know Someting (Full HD)

Slinky bassline! Saw them live twice, first time they were awesome, second time they sucked

Re: Best Rock Ballads

My choices would be rather cheesy depending on what mood Im in and would only be played in the privacy of my house to avoid the embarrasment on being caught.
The last rock 'ballad' I played was probably Beth...Kiss.

Re: Best Rock Ballads

I classify Rock Ballads as ballads sung by Rock Artists..
Power Ballads are a different kettle of Fish

IMHO

(and all bloody appalling)

Re: Best Rock Ballads

Dunno, you tell me.
As I said above, I'm not big on power ballads, but there are a few I can tolerate. Heavy Rock is not really on my radar, full stop.
