Nice novelty song... but did he write the melody ?

He wrote the lyrics for the song... Georgie Girl
(Dusty Springfields brother Tom wrote the melody )

(Jim Trained as a ballet dancer before he hit the big time )

All in all a very talented guy ( let's not mention Carry on Colmbus )
