Anyone else have the Planet of the Apes boardgame, all I remember about it was a cardboard cage you put together in the middle of the board where the people fell into. Also, vaguely remember a Kojak game. (hey, just noticed the resemblance between smiley and telly savalas.)

I'll post this request for help as it was a fave for a time, even though I've not heard or seen it since.

It was called Roundhouse and was basically a large plastic arena (sort of like a roulette wheel) that you spun balls around in.

That's about it really (or at least all I can remember). Regular net and Ebay searches have turned up nowt.

    Any takers?

I liked Monopoly although I remember playing it with my older cousins and not quite "getting" it
I loved a game called "the amazing labyrinth" which I never had myself but all my friends did.
Also used to play Nine Men's Morris and Draughts with my mum a lot

Used to play Escape from Colditz a bit, also liked Treasure of the Pharoahs, Alley Cats and Tank Command (not technically a board game). I also used to make my own board games and sell them to my friends at school for 10p each. LOL!

Hotel & Monopoly. We had some brilliannt games of that in the winter of 76, some had to be continued the next day.

Got a origonal Hotel game from then still & complete.

Frustration has & will be a classic for years to come i'm sure.

I remember having the pacman board game, you had to run around the board and pick up all the white pellets without getting caught by a ghost, if you picked up a power pill you could send the ghost of your choice back home
