With all the computer age we have decided to have a family night in our house and play board games. I`ve looked at some of the newer ones and they seem rubbish compared to ones I remember growing up. Was wondering if anyone could recommend some classic games that still can be bought. Seen operation, kerplunk, game of life, monopoly. Would love to get my hands on buckaroo but seem to be having probs as moved to the states and can`t find most of the english games. Any others would be good also. One game I always wanted was pacman boardgame.

Re: Re-releases or recommendations
like a 3-D house, 4 rooms...you made your way round following little painted footsteps,,each room had traps in...at the end you climbed the staircase in the middle. A ball was dropped down the chimney...it was completely random which exit it took, and therefore which trap in which room it set off (eg rolling down the staircase at you !)
If you google it you're bound to find a piccie
Davesigpic
Splitters!

Re: Re-releases or recommendations
I have to say, If I was gonna buy one of the games still available, I would not buy the new version. I 'd hunt out the old one.
There is a complete game of Game of Life hanging around at work, probably gonna get thrown out:cry:
