Mansion puzzle type game

This has been bothering me for YEARS!!!

I played a computer game back in the mid to late 90's. It was a mystery/puzzle type of game that was in a mansion. It was first person view. It had a ton of rooms with different type puzzles in them. Billards room. Game room. Kitchen. Bedrooms. Even a back yard I think. There was also this woman that would come on from time to time and kind of sing clues? I remember a man saying "Does 2+2 REALLY equal 4?".

Does this ring a bell to anyone?

It was the first game I remember playing that had video of real people in it. In a few of the rooms a beautiful woman would walk out and say something or sing something.

Sorry, yes it was a PC game.

I will look into that but wasn't that game just a 3D puzzle? This was more a mystery/adventure game where you solved puzzles.

No it was actually set in a mansion and even had historical clips

That's too cartoony.

The one I'm thinking of had very nice graphics. And you didn't actually move around the rooms. You clicked on a room and it took you in it but it was 2D now that I think about it. You could interact with a few things but not move or look around.
