Cassette tape loading was a pain at the time but the sounds still bring back the memories of many an hour of great gaming. after the spectrum I moved onto a master system then a Snes and didn't go back to a computer based system until PC's were affordable. The complexity and pricing made them all but unapproachable for me for many years.

Amstrad 464, got it for £20 off a fellow NHS Nurse in 1996 with fruit boxes of stuff with it, I wish I still had it. I clearly remember a painting by numbers game, and an electric circuit wiring up game. It certainly left an impact! Cursed with a life-long interest in electronics due to it!
