Funny that you mention Blue Box. When I was a kid I saw in a toy shop a secret agent playset by Blue Box that I had wanted but never got. I'm still looking for one. In the late '90s, early 2000s Blue Box (now called BBI or Blue Box International) was known for their highly detailed 1:6 scale action figures like this one.

Oh right. I can understand why you wanted one of them lol. I can't say I've ever heard of Blue Box before - until recently I never really looked at the make of the toys I have and can't say I paid any attention to stuff like that as a kid.

That's very true because I've shipped a lot of stuff to Australia where it seems that almost everything is hard to find there. That's because Australia is not heavily industrialised so a lot of things have to be imported -- more so than the UK or US.

Yeah. I had someone recently asking about a couple of toys I had for sale who was from Australia. Seems they buy loads from over here in the UK. Was wondering why they bought so much from elsewhere, but that explains it lol.

pity u never saw toy hunter om freeview it would ave been perfect for you.

im sure there are people you can go too how value toys who specialise in that market mate.
you could list them or even pm me.

90 dollars rather than quid, but indeed that still would be good lol.

To be more specific, the item is a school house by Spectra from 1989. One sold on ebay UK for 99p, different colour roof and no flag. Not sure if it had everything else with it. For some weird reason I can't find the US one anymore for sale or sold. There are two similar versions though; one being Barney the dinosaur (odd for a school) and the other is a Fisher Price one.

The dolls houses include "My Dream House" with a stupidly large amount of furniture. It does not appear to be the more popular Fisher Price version as the people with it are different but aside from that it's very close and possibly has more items with it. No clue what make it is though

I also have another which is plastic and you can take it apart. I just realised I read the make slightly wrong so just looking it up again lol. It's by Blue Box 1980. Found a similar one on ebay UK, but they think it's from the 60s. US seems to sell the same version I have but prices vary a fair bit. So still not sure how much mine is worth lol.

I then have two little Playmates Takara sets (from 1993 I think). One is a bedroom with 3 bears and the other is a kitchen with 3 dogs.

I'll have to have more of a google to see if I can find any local toy dealers/collectors.

Thanks for replying. I thought about going in the middle, but for that one is a sold item and the other is still for sale and in the US not UK. Values can be very different between countries and with rarer items it's harder to know if a seller is charging more than it's actually worth. Although no harm in asking for more and seeing if it sells I suppose.

Is there any easy way to value my other items?

I have a couple of dolls houses and little playsets and have no clue of their value.

In the case of only two examples I would find a median price and value it at that. In your example I would value it at £30 ($46).

Is there any easy way to find out what old toys are worth now? Does anyone on here know the value of lots of old toys?

I've got a number of old toys from the 90s and I have no idea what they're worth, if anything.

I have found one or two items but the prices I've found aren't helpful. For example, one toy I have is/has been on ebay. It's at $90ish on ebay US and one has sold recently for £0.99 plus postage on ebay UK and they are the only two I can find online anywhere. A couple of other toys have been sold on ebay UK but all from the US with very high postage so it's hard to say if people are including postage in the value of the item or if it would sell for the same price in the UK but with less shipping.

For the rest I can't even find a mention of them online.

I'm happy to list the items (and add some photos if needed). Would like to know if any of them are worth something, but just don't seem to be getting anywhere searching online.
