Help! early 80s space toy

Hi, I remember a diecast toy range that consisted of bubble fighters (like the one in lost in space) parts where interchangeable

plastic spheres(cockpits) wings, legs and weapons

this has racked my brain for 20 years any suggestions would help.

P.s. it wasn't micronauts but it reminds me of them.

It sounds a little like Robotix, but they were later in the 1980s.

Mulletino, I don't know if those are the ones he's thinking of, but I do remember them! The figures, and the yellow ship on the left If I recall rightly they were good quality and made of metal.

My brother had the alien gun turret in the top left of the lower box.

It would shoot red plastic balls, which managed to get lost easily.
