Anyone else have one of these? It was a kit with powder and a mould. You mixed up the powder and let it set in the mould.after a few hours/days, you popped open the mould and you had bright coloured bouncy ball!.
I got mine in the early 70's from a school jumblesale,so I only had enough mix to make one ball.I had never seen one since until I came across some for sale on Ebay recently.and like a fool, I never bought one.I did download the picture of the kit though (I will post it when I get home).
If anyone has access, are there any still for sale on Ebay today? (can't look at it at work)
They were made by Ideal, early 70's.
I also had one of those "grow your own diamond" (crystal) kits in the later 70's (from Habitat,I seem to recall), but I was so impatient,I kept pulling it out to look at it instead of letting it grow
Also had a "grow your own peanuts" kit,but the illustration on the box led me to believe it would be a bush with peanuts on it. no-one told me they grew underground,so I assumed it didn't work, but when digging up the ground at a later date, found loads of stale dried up peanuts..
