Wiggly rubber finger puppet monster things?

Anyone remember these? I think you can still get them but they might look a bit different now - the ones I remember were a bit different to this:



My sister and I used to collect them - they were 15p each and we'd sit for ages on the floor of the shop, sifting through the box to find any "rejects" that nobody else would want - with misshapen eyes, arms missing, etc soft beggars that we were!!

We gave them all names and kept them in empty egg-boxes, one to each egg compartment - lined with tissue with a little bit of paper bearing the "wiggly's" name....oh my, this is sounding worse and worse haha!

I ended up with over 200 of them! Goodness knows what happened to them!

hehe..not seen those for years! I had a few, and can still remember the smell and the texture in your mouth as you bit the arms off

ahhh another party bag fav, parents still give them out today.

I'm still haunted by the memory of them. Someone one put one in my milkshake - and I swallowed the thing whole. Uuuuurrrrgggghhhh.
