I had one of these as a kid I'm sure,there was a car you placed on it and you directed the car around the roads with the steering wheel...

No way!
i had one of those.
The steering wheel moves an arm with a magnet on under the track which rotates and you get magnets that clip onto any Matchbox car
Cant remember what its called though but if you look in the middle of the steering wheel.... is that the Matchbox "M"?sigpic

ahhh but the car was stuck to the magnet on the arm so ... looking at the picture....if you turned LEFT the car would shoot over to the left side of the track.....whack it up to full speed it was a rally on the living room floorOriginally posted by stevef View PostSo the whole track rotated and you just moved the car in and out.
