Cool thanks, The Burbanks one is the right colour and everything though. If Pedigree did not make more or less the exact same toy,it's him!!!

Dan was more the kind of little boy who would,rip his stuffing out, just to see how he talked,more than one toy was murdered that way in our house, I call it destructive, Dan would call it inquisitive!!!

just compared the pics and the original pic I posted (on the toys thread) is different to the burbank ones I have posted here..I saw a similar faced one earlier today (not for sale though), will search out the pic

Aww he was adorable, and so soft, (you could not feel his voice box)But lots of fun too!! Swinging him around.
Kept me warm and safe in bed at nights, I wonder what happened to him?? but in big familys,I guess things get passed on.

Sixty, He's definitely one of these monkeys, all I have to do is find the one with the right voice box, Mum is now convinced he came with the swingas shown in the other photo, and I can remember he could hold his own ear,also demonstrated in the other photo's, and I dont think mine was dressed, thats why the very first picture you found,reminded me of him.I will own a Jack Monkey again one day, with all your help we are well on the right track.

I have written a letter to the seller of the above item, just to ask if they would mind confirming the monkey said the three phrases I recall. Then hopefully I can set on the search of one for myself! I cant believe the above item only sold this month:cry:,Id have paid twice the price she got for him. The more I look at him the more memories come flooding back!!

I used to have a talking Action Man, who said several phrases, but I could only ever get him to say three..one of which,I thought for years, was "action man patrol calling".
it was about twenty years later i found out he was actually saying "action man patrol..fall in"
