Weird toys!

Did anyone have one of those skipping type things where you put a hoop around your ankle, attached to that was what looked like a piece of washing line!, and at the end was a ball. You had to swing your ankle so the ball went round you legs and then jump over the ball! I had hours of fun with this. At one time they were the 'in' thing at school.

Also used to play with a stocking in a ball, you had to stand with your back to the wall and swing the stocking so that the ball bounced off the wall! WEIRD.

Also remember the skipping game, not as I had one They were called skip-it in the 80's and were made by Tiger Toys.

Can you imagine now asking for one of your mums stockings to play with lol......
