  • 90s action figures - connectibles? Please help...

I used to play with these figures in the early to mid 90s and I loved them but can't remember their name or find anything about them on the web, please help. I'll try to be as specific as I can in this description:

You'd get two different types of character in each pack (one pack I remember was a fat Texan road cop and a Mummy) and you could pull the arms and legs and head off of one character and place them on another, so you'd have a Mummy with a pudgy cop's face etc. I think they may have been called 'Connectables' but I might be wrong. They were about the same size as the original Star Wars figures. That's all I can remember details wise.

    Please, somebody, help me!

Matchbox Connectables are vehicles, so I don't think its them

Could they be Socket Poppers? Came in packs with vampires, swamp monsters, mummy, sheriff etc. Were made by Ertl

Thanks. According to Figure Realm (your action figure resource!) "if you built 3 characters a minute with no duplications and worked continuously for 2 years, you couldnt complete all the possible combinations offered by just 2 Socket Poppers characters. Asuming there were no duplications in their work, one trillion people each working continuously for one trillion years could complete less than one-billionth of the possible combinations offered by all 16 characters." Crikey!
