  • Rollerskating kids?

Ok, time for my own 'do you remember...' toy quest.

A series of small (maybe 3-4" high) soft plastic figures (mine was of a non-descript blonde kid) with heavy, diecast metal rollerskates on. Plastic wheels, somewhat like a slightly larger Hot Wheels car would let him zoom about.

I'd say it was probably a US toy - Mattel or something like that. I only had the one but I'm sure there were more designs, other kids to get. The design was quite cute (in an American version of Dennis the Menace sort of way).

This is from the early/mid 70s if I remember rightly.

    Any takers?

              That's them. Superb! Thanks guys.

I think mine must have been a victim of mum-clearoutitis which would be a shame as I remember him still being around well into the 80s. Of course, during those times (late teens-20s) I wasn't really bothered about keeping old toys.

Not like now in my nostalgia-addled 40s
