Magic Stick..... on invisible line

Hi Guys,

When I was a kid I had a Magic Stick. It was a yellow plastic stick with a red plastic ball at each end. It was attached to a piece of clear fishing line type stuff. It's got to be my favourite toy of the 70's. I remember the day I bought it. Does anyone have a pic of one or in fact even remember them?

yes i remember them,
we called them trick sticks,i remember going to the toy shop to get one

My best friend had a magic stick. I desperately wanted one. Thought it was the best thing ever, though I think I was influenced by a cool advert for it that I vaguely remember. Looking back it was a bit rubbish really.

People have already covered the stick, but the "invisible thread" toy I most remember were "Squirmles"... nostalgic and still very much around. Infestng Youtube, too.
