Ok - Heres another one to ponder....
My brother got a racing game back in 1974 - I think it was made by Matchbox or Mattel (Hot Wheels?) - it had a track consisting of track and curved bends - each of the cars was "charged" in a start gate by pressing a blue (?) button on the top. Once charged the cars were released and raced around the track. Each car had a little electric motor underneath the chassis - the cars were matchbox superfast/hot wheels size.
As we both remember - the set didn't exactly do what it said on the box and we spent hours trying to get the set to work without much success....
Anyone any ideas?
