My Dalek Suit

[FLYING SAUCER]

When I was 4 I had for Christmas a Dalek Suit! I loved it! It was made of red pvc with printed white spots on, the helmet was made of hard plastic with slots round and you could push your arms through the armholes and hold 2 sink pluger type missiles that came with it!

Anyone else own one in about 1969?

I grew out of it in the end , I can smell it now plasticky!

It look quite the same as mine, crikey I would have looked after it more if i'd have known, but then, hey, I probably got £3K worth of fun out of it eh?

My kids like dr who they had a few of the bigger remore controlled toys.darlek and k-9.Etc.A friend is an avid collector he has been to conventions etc.I met tom baker around '78 ( i think) I used to have a couple of autographed items that i might have stupidly given away? poster and novel.I met him at my local preedies as it was then.

I love charity shops and I treated myself before christmas, I managed to pick up a Cyberman Helmet with voice changer for £4.99!

Will be changing the batteries and making a nuisance of myself in it!!! (ought to grow up really!)

My parents disposed of my stuff when i was a mere 11.So nothing to miss.But some of the stuff i had back then would be worth a fortune.

That cost $29 new, about 12 years ago. He's worth more now.

Not a dalek suit,but the plastiky smell reminds me of a space suit i had.Used to get so hot inside,i almost passed out due to plastic fumes.
