  • Minic Ships .... Does anyone remember these

    These were like die-cast ships with ports and cranes and other bits.
    They only seemed to be available at our local shop for a while

    I remember these,made by Triang along with Minic Motorway I believe.

        Yes, very collectable now. Especially the rarer parts of the "port" pieces.
        But plenty on eBay:

          I played with these as a child and have a collection of the modern models.

          The port models are still in production together with new ship models - have a look at their website at http://www.triangminicships.com

            I had the Queen Mary that came with a couple of little tug boats which I bought on the real Queen Mary in Long Beach, California.
