  • Do you remember a Tomy Maze game?

    Hi all

I have been trying to find what the Tomy Maze game I had as a kid was. Given up on google searches, all I ever find is Screwball scramble, which is not what I am looking for.

If memory serves me right, it took 1 C type battery and was a large yellow plastic thing. Underneath was a half a plastic sphere so you could tilt it around when placed on a table.

The battery powered all functions like a spinning circular mini maze, objects coming up and out of the maze floor etc. I'm sure I even remember adverts on the tv for it!

When you got the ball bearing to the end of the maze, it was returned to a little area at the front.

The maze was also timed with a rotary dial

    any help appreciated...

All I can think of is a game I had called 'Trip over Traps', later branded as 'Aaaargh'. I'm sure it was made by Tomy and I think there is a thread on here somewhere about it.

Many thanks Huggie74 (and Trickyvee). It was rock and roll maze

I was considering next time I am at home climbing up in my parents loft to find out !

I find it horrible when you can think of the object in so much detail, yet you have forget the name

you're very welcome thats what brings us all here

Actually if you ever do dig it out, I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of the underside half sphere bit..sad muppet as I am
Rock n roll was my first thought as its on ebay at the moment but I almost ruled it out due to the fact the half sphere/tilting bit was no where to be seen on the box!

No problems, will upload some pics when I dig it out.

On a side note I got to see some present day toys (my cousins kids toys) and I was not very impressed!
