Yeah Darren Allison has always seemed a really friendly person from the interviews i've seen with her in. Last time i saw a picture of her she was still really good looking given her age I think. Ihave the Ferry Aid L.P but sadly it does'nt play properly ... though until I can find a better copy (which is about a 1 in 1000 chance I believe/feel) i'll never ever throw it away!

By the time we reach the "smoking in McCartney's house" episode of series 8, as far as I am concerned, Fay Lucas became an adult (or behaved like an adult anyway) from that episode onwards - (the occupational hazard of actresses being a couple of years older than their characters, no doubt). No wonder Peter King couldn't resist in the following series...

                          Re: Alison bettles.

Bettles also featured in a toy advert circa 1981 just before she was in GH - cannot remember what the product was called, something like "Trick Stick" or something (ring any bells in the Toys part of the forum, perhaps?)- it was a yo-yo type product, and it was probably seen during Tiswas and Watch It! ad breaks. It was on YouTube a few years ago, and might still be there if you look in the right place.

I have mentioned this before, but David Straun who played Fay's b̶o̶y̶f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d forum tutor Peter King appeared in a Woolworths advert circa 1983, getting excited about Cadbury's Dairy Milk being only 15p - the previous product being promoted in the advert was for some kitchen towels that happened to be called "Fay", ironically enough! I mentioned it in the GH thread over a year ago.

By 1985 she looked really angelic in a "Nicole-Franklin-out-of-Home-and-Away" sort of way (white knee socks not included...)

Peter King was Fay's Maths teacher rather than form tutor, but you get my drift.
