George Baker

I remember him first of all in Miss Marple At Bertram's Hotel in 1986 or 1987 playing a police officer to think this was the part that got him the role of Inspector Wexford in the Ruth Rendell Mysteries.

Anyone else a fan of his?

He was very good as Tiberius in I, Claudius.

I can also remember him being in Some Mothers Do 'Av 'Em & Doctor Who.
