Yes Richard you are right. Kerry Noble played Esther with Bernard Hill playing her Dad, He visits Esther at the residential home she lives at after many years neglecting her. They set off with a few of Esther's friends who also live at the home with her, with her Dad driving the mini-bus. They go off looking for the Skalagrigg who is the 'saint' of disabled people & also look for the 'Dilk' who is a member of staff at a psychiatric hospital who abuses patients. They end up at Banks psychiatric hospital in Southport Merseyside (previously Lancashire before the county borders were changed) and find Richard Briers character who apparently is the Skallagrigg. They also find the Dilk

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

Does anyone remember If You See God, Tell Him?

This starred Richard Briers as a man who developed an addiction to adverts after a head injury.

Adrian Edmondson played his son (in law?).

At the time it was controversial, but is mostly forgotten about. It was written by David Renwick.

I remember the Dr. Who story "Paradise Towers" in which he played the Chief Caretaker. It was one of the worst stories ever.

He featured in many TV adverts, including as the Dad of the 'Ford family' in Ford Sierra adverts from the mid-1980s. The annoying mother-in-law had a Mk1 Escort. Remember folks, 'Ford gives you more'!
