    thought it was gonna be a toughie question this one

    Was gonna mention a 'fav actor' thread, but then searched & realised we had one..pity its not split though, as it covers actors AND actresses

    The 'Golden Age' of Hollywood - in particular the 1930's thru to the 1950's - was certainly far preferable to the 'actors' we have today (in 99% of cases I'd say)

    Now THEY were what could truly be called 'movie stars'
