Two of my favorite adverts.

This advert brings back some very fond memories. Back in the late '60s and early '70s Gulf Oil sponsored NBC's coverage of the Apollo space missions and used to run this advert during the broadcast. At one time I even knew the whole jingle by heart. I couldn't decide whether I wanted to be an astronaut or "a workin' on a tank ship" when I grew up!

the ad of all time for me has to be for reebok trainers the music that accompanied the advert was juust outstanding and i have never heard anything as good since then to this day.:cry:

For me it has to be this advert for McEwan's lager from the 80's as mentioned by spuggybridge:

The music is by Win and the vid is inspired by the artwork of M C Escher. It's an amazing ad.

Back in the day before youtube I spent years trying to find the music from this. None of my friends or family remembered the ad and any record shops I went to to try and find the song just looked at me as if I was insane. I finally found the album (Uh, Tears Baby) about 10 years ago. This is the best song on it.

Hope someone else remembers it with me

My other half loves the McEwens Lager AD from the 80's, the one where people are pushing these concrete boulders inside a clock tower.

Looking back I love the public info ad telling kids not to swim in ponds and rivers, very eerie, and the Tennents pilsner ads from the 80's starring Dick Spanner PI.
